Lucy replied: "Choose lean protein. Your body relies on protein in order to function, so without it you feel sluggish. This doesn’t mean you should run out and have a cheeseburger. High fat proteins can also weigh you down and zap your energy. Instead, eat lean proteins, such as chicken breasts and pork loin.
Add more vitamin C to your diet. A deficiency of vitamin C can cause fatigue. Instead of starting your morning with a cup of coffee, get more energy naturally. Make a smoothie with fruits high in vitamin C or have a simple glass of orange juice. Not only will you get more energy, but you’ll start your day off in a healthy way.
Take B12 supplements. Vitamin B12 doesn’t give you energy directly. Instead, it helps create reactions in your body that give you energy. Depending on your diet, you may not be getting enough B12 and might need to take supplements. This is especially true for vegetarians and vegans. A deficiency in B12 can leave you with little energy.
Exercise daily. Exercise is a wonderful way to get more energy naturally. Exercise gets your blood pumping and can get you ready for the day. Each morning, do a cardio workout. It doesn’t have to take long; 15 minutes is enough. The more exercise you do, the better shape your body will be in. When your body’s in good shape, you have more energy.
Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep each night. Many people fail to get a proper night’s sleep. This step alone can give you more energy naturally. Take time to set up a schedule and stick to it. There’s always tomorrow to finish up projects. Don’t put your health at risk by sleeping fewer hours."
Life Is... replied: "You may want to consider getting some tests done to determine if you are anemic, deficient in iron or B-12. Otherwise, a good B-complex from a reputable company, such as Nature's Plus or Solaray may do the trick and help you feel much better. Purchase these quality brands at a health food store. B complex is usually very inexpensive."
How can i obtain a pure and dry caffeine from a caffeine which contaminated with common salt( sodium chloride) With this infomation
Caffeine is a white solid which melts at 235 degree.Natural caffeine can be obtain from tea and used as mdidicine
Caffeine has moderate solubility in water, moderate solubility in alcohol and high solubility in propanons.
Common salt has high solubility in watr, small in alcohol and NIL in propanons
Jon K replied: "You want to make use of the difference in solubility of caffeine vs. sodium chloride in various solvents. Caffeine is only slightly soluble in water while salt is highly soluble in water. The opposite is true for organic solvents (though I don't know what you mean by "propanons"). The key is to find an organic solvent that is not water miscible, for example trichloroethane (TCE) or chloroform. Then add your caffeine-salt mixture to a water-TCE mixture. The salt will dissolve in the water, the caffeine in the TCE. Put these in a separatory funnel, shake the hell out of it, and draw off the water layer. Dry the TCE layer (over a drying agent) and evaporate off the solvent. You'll have relatively pure caffeine. If you save the water layer, you can extract any of the caffeine that dissolved in it by another TCE extraction."
How does caffeine act as a natural pesticide? According to Wikipedia, their article about caffeine says that it acts as a pesticide for seedlings that produce natural foliages. How does it work?
Thee Gringo Douglas McCoi replied: "no idea bug, I mean bud"
deer replied: "well caffeine draws out water and dehydrates the seedlings, so they can't grow and do their photosynthesis (which water is essential for)."
Yoda replied: "paralyzes and kills certain insects feeding on the plants"
raymondcasillas68 replied: "I guess it does as the same as with portorican coqui ( ko-kee) frogs in hawaii. they are fighting the infestation by spraying coffee over them. the result is the caffeine makes the coqui's heart beat rise up 'till they die of a heart attack. if it works on a tiny frog it should work on a smaller animal, like an insect. they have hearts too."
What is a natural buffer for caffeine? First off, is caffeine acidic or basic? Secondly, what is a naturally occurring buffer for it?
crash o replied: "Caffeine is amphoteric, which means it can act as acid or base. Its pKa and pKb are both around 14. It also means it is self-buffering, since it can partially exist as the zwitterion (one molecule having both a positive and negative charge) in aqueous solution."
Natural Caffeine sources? I know you can get caffeine from coffee, and I know you can also get it from Guarana and Yerba Mate. What has more Guarana or Yerba Mate, and are there any other herbs that have lots of caffeine
reevorb replied: "My sister was cracked out on this herbal tea called something like "Herbal Morning a Go-Go." I don't know what's in it.
Have you tried things other than caffeine? Kombuchka, Gotu Kola, Ginseng? They'll get ya goin' allright."
hey you replied: "Green Tea is great! Makes you feel good and it's better than coffee."
Where does the caffeine in soda come from? I know it used to come from kola nuts, but now most sodas use artificial flavorings instead. Is the caffeine lab created or extracted from a plant? (I bought this energy drink with 'natural caffeine' and it made me wonder)
tstcchef replied: "The syrup."
griffin_1981 replied: "soda does not naturally have caffeine. it is added in. where it comes from depends on the company. natural caffeine doesn't necessarily make it good for you. if it is in large quantities or a strong form it could make your heart beat irregularly."
Steve replied: "some plants may contain caffeine in them naturally (coffee beans anyone?), However the large part of caffeine in sodas is added in artificially."
RUDOLPH M replied: "In coke it is still from the kola nut. Drinks like Mt. Dew use caffeine chemical."
Waddetree replied: "yes.. it is extracted from a plant..its form is a colorless liquid thats transparent in other ingredients...caffeine is a substance thats produced by plant chemistry by the sun..thus is released by heated water, soluable caffeine, the color of caffeine is yellow 100 prof thus fermination makes it darker. caffeine is alkalilne but if you use cholrinated water the ph is more alkaline which gives caffeine that nasty taste... even Marijana has caffeine in it, in tea form water substance meaning boiling water..."
