Can constant headaches be caused by low blood sugar? My husband has had a constant headache for the past few months. (Yes, MONTHS) and nothing is helping it. He's gone to the doctor and has been referred to a neurologist, but can't get in until July. He's been given Imitrex, but it doesn't help. He got shots from the ER, but that didn't faze it either. He's had an MRI and that came back clear. Anyway, this is actually a two-part question. When I was pregnant, I had hypoglycemia and found when I hit a horrible low, a swallow of maple syrup would make me feel better almost instantly. I tried this one morning with him, and worked for about 15 minutes, then came back, but not any worse than what it was. Can hypoglycemia cause ONLY headaches, or are there other signs to look for? (It's been a while since I've had it so I can't remember the details.) Any other suggestions until he can get to the neurologist? He's on a host of meds (nexium, wellbutrin, singulair, lomotil, albuterol inhaler) so he has to be careful... ...but any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance. Blessings

screamer45 replied: "hey ive been in the medical field for 2 years and i have to say that yes hypoglycemia can cause severe headaches. and you said your husband got an MRI? well where did he go? and lmitrex isnt really a good drug to treat headaches, like the ones yourhusband is getting. ya know i have a strong feeling that your husband is a diabetic. if this is so the reason why he is getting these heads aches os because he dousent have enough sugar in his blood. so these headaches are trigured by lack of oxygen to the brain, nothing to severe, but without the glucose in the blood it dosent pump properly, so very small clots begin to form. so because of the lack of oxygen to the brain your husband suffers with these headaches. i also think that he is also pretty dizzy and nauseated. (sorry cant spell been up al night in the E.R.) so i think you should return to the docotor and have him be tested to see if he is dibetic. another side of i may be that he is getting way to much sugar. it is a posibility that he may be Hyperglycemic. dont see that very much though. Hope the Best for your husband. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

heckenhocker replied: "Low blood sugar could cause headaches, but it would probably also cause other symptoms such as lack of energy, shaking (when very low). If you think low blood sugar could be a factor, then go to a drug store and buy a glucose monitor and test strips. He can then test his blood sugar regularly and see if there is a pattern. You'll need: - the monitor - test strips that are specified by the monitor you choose - lancets to prick the finger to get the drop of blood needed. Look for the automatic pens for the lancets...it's way easier to use one of these than stabbing yourself with a lancet! (lancet = small sharp blade usually embedded in plastic, just big enough to draw a drop of blood)"

Could all these symptoms be related to one diagnosis? I have several symptoms and have been diagnosed with several different things but I feel they might all be related. Symptoms: -nerve pain in several regions of body -leg numbness -back pain -sour stomach -belching -headaches -sensitivity to light and sound -earaches -nausea -pressure in occipital region of head -confusion/forgetfulness I have been diagnosed with the following: -pinched femoral nerve -degenerative joint disease (lumbar) -acid reflux -allergies While these may very well be the correct diagnoses, I really do not feel like they are. I have been taking allergy meds every day but the pressure and headaches get worse. 2 months of Nexium did not help the acid reflux. Nerve damage in leg is spreading past the femoral nerve region to the upper thigh, along with many areas of pin-point nerve pain (cheek, left side of back, above knees, arm). Please help if you have any idea what could be going on!!

A few years ago I was suffering from a muscle strain in my back so I went to a chiropractor. At the same time I had tingling and soreness in my arms and legs, neck pain, migraine headaches, earaches, the whole shot. Now keep in mind I only went there for the sore back. She told me my whole body was out of wack, she did some readjusting(no pain) gave me some simple exercises to do at home, and everything and I mean everything went away within 2 weeks. Just make sure you tell the chiropractor what diagnosis you have been given and what medications you are on. Good luck"

Is it in my head or fibromyalgia? I am sure I have fibromyalgia, I have all the symptoms, and have had DR treating each one individually. I have hard bad headaches, pain in my neck, lower back, my knees, tendons, elbows, wrists, and ankles. I have reflux, and am on Nexium, I have had irregular heart rythums, tingle and numbness in my hands and arms, my upper arms hurt when touched, Had hyst.. to help with bad periods, Now, am on Hormones, still moody, up and down. I have Irrit. bowels, and bladder. I have had CT scans, Xrays, MRI, and tons of blood work done. Everything OK. Did I mention, always have low blood pressure, and am on Sythnroid for very low thyroid. I feel like I am a pill popping junky, and seems like I am just touching the surface, and still hurt.??? Dr says, well.... I will have to look into that?? Low percentage people that have it, probably not likely? What else could it be, but Fibrom.. It is not in my head... It is miserable. I am an extremely active person..

Billie77 replied: "The pain of fibromyalgia occurs in areas where the muscles attach to bone or ligaments and is similar to the pain of arthritis. The joints themselves are not affected, however, so they are not deformed nor do they deteriorate as they may in arthritic conditions. The pain typically originates in one area, usually the neck and shoulders, and then radiates out. Most patients report feeling some pain all the time; and many describe it as "exhausting." The pain can vary, depending on the time of day, weather changes, physical activity, and the presence of stressful situations; it has been described as stiffness, burning, stabbing, sudden, radiating, and aching. The pain is often more intense after disturbed sleep. The other major complaint is fatigue, which some patients report as being more debilitating than the pain. Fatigue and sleep disturbances are, in fact, almost universal in patients with fibromyalgia, due to lack of serotonin, and if these symptoms are not present, then some experts believe that physicians should seek a diagnosis other than fibromyalgia. Up to a third of patients experience depression, and disturbances in mood and concentration are very common. Fibromyalgia patients are also prone to tension or migraine headaches. Other symptoms include dizziness, tingling or numbness in the hands and feet, and gastrointestinal problems, including irritable bowel syndrome with gas and alternating diarrhea and constipation. Some patients complain of urinary frequency caused by bladder spasms. Women may have painful menstrual periods. It affects mostly women and up to 4% of the general population. When you think of Four percent of the population that's a lot of people. This is not in your head. You have every symptom in the book. I recommend you see a doctor of rheumatology as they are the best it taking care of Fibromyalgia. Treatment includes the following: Change in diet and nutrition Supplements geared toward Fibromyalagia Exercise: Gentle stretching such as warm water stretches and light aerobic activity, if possible. Physical Therapy under the guidance of a Chiropractor or Naturopathic Massage Therapy Avoidance of activities that over stress the body (Consider keeping a journal) Regulate sleep patterns Avoiding emotional stress I've written an article on Fibromyalgia and have enclosed a link where you can read more specially about what you can do for yourself. If you have any further questions please let me know. Best wishes, Billie"

happylilbumblebee replied: "Diane, I am so sorry that you are going through this. It just isn't fair. It is like I wrote this message myself. First, no it is NOT in your head. You must never let anyone make you feel that way or let yourself believe that. It is very clear that what you are feeling and experiencing is very real. I completely understand what you feel and what you are going through. You are not alone. I suffer from chronic pain due to multiple medical conditions...Fibromyalgia, Endometriosis, Hypothyroidism, etc. I went through so much trying to find out what was wrong with me and what was causing my muscle ache/pain, chronic fatigue, skin sensitivity, body ache, and Fibro Fog. It was years before I found out that I had Fibro! So I truly understand your exasperation and overwhelming feelings. I would highly recommend you get an appointment with a Rheumatologist. A specialist is the best doctor to see to get answers, a proper diagnosis, and the best treatment. The Rheumatologist will run a blood test to rule out Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Lupus, Lime's Disease, and a couple of other illnesses. To really get a diagnosis, they will need to rule out these other illnesses because there are very similar symptoms related between them. They will also do a tender point test on you. Once you receive your diagnosis, they will start you on a regiment that might contain physical therapy, pain medication, an anti-inflammatory, Lyrica (1st medication just announced by the FDA to treat the symptoms of Fibro), heat therapy (heating pad is so very helpful), a TENS Unit, water therapy, etc. It is so important for you to have the right doctor diagnose and treat your Fibro or what is causing you this tremendous pain/suffering. There are some physicians that do not have enough knowledge on this illness and that can also make them be not understanding. There is a very common misconception regarding pain medication. For those who suffer from chronic pain and a chronic illness; it is necessary to continue pain medication to receive the best pain relief possible. It is not something that makes you a junky; by no means. There is a big difference between a physical dependancy and being addicted. It is very different from the medications prescribed after someone's surgery or after an injury. The medication they'd prescribe for you would be a long-acting medication that is safe to use as long as the patient is responsible. So please do not feel bad about having to take pain pills. Reaching out to others who suffer from chronic pain and Fibro really helps. For me, when I found a Fibro support group online, I felt so much better. It really gave me so much support, understanding, and a safe place to vent. Reaching out to others who truly understand what I go through and who help me get through the bad days. I know own and run my own group and we have a page here in Yahoo. I can't tell you how much it has helped me. Remember, you are not alone. You are so strong for going through all of this and making it through each day. I hope I was able to offer you some answers, helpful info, and support. It breaks my heart to see you suffering like this and not having proper pain relief. I really hope you can get some answers soon. I am here to help you in any way I can. You have my support."

Acid reflux - bad taste in mouth? I used to take Nexium for 3 years, but it did not really help me. With Nexium I still experienced same symptoms over and over:continious burping, nausea, sore throat and burning feeling in my chest/stomach. Hate going to doctor, cause all he says ,is when he looked inside my stomach (did endoscopy) he found nothing seious in there. That was done about 2 years ago. Doctor thinks that it is not necessary to repeat the test. He still wants me to take Nexium. The most annoying and bothering me is :bad taste in my mouth (especially roof of my mouth) it hurts too, and oh very dry sore throat. My jaw and teeth hurt badly sometime.I decided to quit Nexium, since it did not really help me. I do not take it for a week now. No big difference with or without medication. Other meds like Prevacid and Prilosec also did not work for me. I really want to be free from those symptoms. It is giving me headache everyday.Don't know what to do. Help with advise, please! Thank you

advice please.. what should i do? so the last time i had sex was in july so thats been about 4 months ago we used protection but it broke so he pulled out then we did it for a lil while with no condom but he pulled out before he came and then we did it again but with a condom that didnt break the problem? like a month later i began feelin sick but negative test so i didnt think nothing of it but now its been getting worse. headaches tired and the scent of food sends me running to the bathroom also after eating food i told my doctor and she qave me nexium for acid relux because my results were still neqative. this was last month im 17 and im still at a peditrician. about 2 weeks aqo i started feelinq a kind of small thump in my riqht side of my stomach and also my abdomen has times where it gets real tight. its not painful however it is uncomfortable i also have tiny painless cramps and sometimes while sitting i feel kind as if something is moving i called my doctor and i have an appointment next week but what could be wrong? is this what acid reflux feels like or could i be... my friend (with a baby) is telling me i need to go to an obgyn because my peditrician could be wrong but how can i tell my mom i need one without her being suspicious about me wanting to leave? (im scared to talk with mom about this topic) please help me out a lil.. whatever advice will help me ill take it (as long as its not rude) thanks thanks for the advice we have places like planned parent hood but the closest one is far from my house and i dont know how to take the bus there (our transit system is weird) my mom got pregnant at 14 so you'd think this would be easy to talk about with her but the idea of history repeating itself makes it even harder i know what i did was wrong but to look my mom in the face and allow here to see her mistake all over again jus kills me i would never mean to hurt her purposly.. also when my mom was pregnant with me she also had neqative reults for the 1st 3 months but started noticing something wasnt rite(she had been pregnant 2wice) and i was wondering could that also be my case?

why are my symptoms not consistent with my diagnosis? I am a 53 year-old working housewife. Last January, the whole family made a trip out of town. My son and I ate something the others did not. Both of us got sick the next day, diarrhea and vomiting consistent with food poisoning. We were given the same medication; my son got better after 4 days while it's been 4 weeks for me but my bowel movements still have not gotten back to normal. I don't have the diarrhea anymore, just soft, unformed stool. Two weeks after the diarrhea episode, I got the flu- fever, coughing, body aches. A week after that, I woke up feeling really sick to my stomach. I was dizzy, nauseated, lots of stomach cramping and gas rumbling. In addition, I was very tired and was having chills. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with diarrhea (which I did not really have anymore) and just "virus" infection and was given Bentyl. The next day, I had a follow-up check with my primary doctor and was given flagyl and diarrhea medicine. He said it was "just virus" I stopped taking the flagyl after 2 days because I was getting more sick in the stomach. My doctor changed my medicine to Nexium, saying I had a lot of acid reflux. Nexium gave me headaches and made the dizziness and nausea worse, so I stopped it after 3 days. I went to see my ENT doctor because I could not sleep at night from post nasal drip and dry mouth and throat. I had redness in my throat and again, he concluded acid reflux and virus. He prescribed saline irrigation and changed my med. to Xantax. Again, the headache reaction was there and Xantax did not really help. I also consulted with a GI doctor and he ordered testing for TSH and H. pylori plus an abdominal/pelvic CT scan. All turned out negative so I was diagnosed again with acid reflux and "virus" that just won't go away. I made another trip to the ER because I was getting weaker everyday and my blood pressure was spiking (145-150 over 90-100). I was scared. Blood test showed my Potassium was low (3.0), I was given 2 bags of IV and 40 mg. of potassium tablets. Went back to my primary doctor complaining of the same thing, dull headache, dizziness, and nausea especially in the morning. Convinced my doctor that my blood pressure was probably aggravating my symptoms, he gave me Toprol (50 mg) once a day. There are tell-tale signs that Toprol is working, in addition to my nausea, the med. now makes me sleepy and sluggish. There is improvement in my legs from potassium but my symptoms are still here and it has been 3 weeks since I was diagnosed with virus and acid reflux. I do have acid reflux as my ENT doctor saw thickening in my larynx, however, I don't have the burning sensation as most sufferers do, just a lot of belching and stomach gas. My diet consists of rice, lean boiled chicken, oatmeal, crackers, ginger tea, yogurt, and I am also taking probiotics. I have missed work for 3 weeks now because I can't get up in the morning. Some days are better and I would conclude that I've been healed but the next day, I would be sick again, my symptoms come and go. Today, I saw an eye doctor but he did not find anything wrong with my eyes. I am desperate for a cure, I am tired of being sick, I am depressed and frustrated. Please help me. Thank you.

Coder001 replied: "Perhaps you should see a gastroenterologist (GI) doc. Since, your symptoms began with intestinal issues, a GI doc could possibly due an endoscopy; either upper, lower or both. Maybe the virus triggered an autoimmune response. You might want to discuss that with your doctor and he/she could run some more tests with that in mind. After three weeks, I would think one of your docs would order more tests or procedures to determine what the source of your symptoms are. Don't give up and good luck. I hope you feel well soon."

formerly_bob replied: "One thing that can cause this type of problem and which often gets overlooked is an intestinal parasite such as giardia. This particular parasite is very hard to kill in some people, and the symptoms vary. Giardia can cause completely different symptoms in different people, and the symptoms vary immensely in their severity. Two of the common symptoms caused by Giardia are belching and watery stools. You could ask the doc to test a stool sample for giardia, but it's easy to miss because it has a life cycle where it periodically goes dormant in microscopic cysts that are very difficult to identify, so more than one sample should be tested if the first one is negative. Read up on giardia, and if you think its a possibility, the docs could give you a 10-14 day course of Cipro or some other antibiotic and see what happens."

Anglo 409 replied: "Your situation is far too complicated for me to even guess. I do mention that it was interesting to me that as I read your question and saw Flagyl giardiasis immediately came to mind. Some years ago everybody in my family but me got it and they were given Flagyl. Since Formerly Bob thinks the symptoms match and a doctor prescribed Flagyl it may be of some importance. You said that the doctor who prescribed the Flagyl said "just virus," but I find that unlikely that he thought that or he would not have prescribed Flagyl. Ironically some years after, my wife and I were prescribed Flagyl for a yeast infection of unknown source. The stuff made both of us nearly sick with weird headaches and stomach distress, but we took them all just as my wife and sons did with the giardiasis. In both cases, in spite of the discomfort, it worked. Maybe you should pick back up taking the rest of the prescription since nothing else seems to work... I am so sorry this is happening to you and fully understand why you feel depressed and frustrated. I pray you get better quickly. Try the Flagyl and have faith that it will all work out."

I don't know what kind of doctor I need to see, please help!? Something is wrong, and it's not going away >.< I have had basic tests done, but nothing more... I don't think they are taking me seriously (both doctors that I've been to, and one is an internist). I'm 18, and after taking antibiotics in september/october (2 were full-course, one was only for a couple of days because it messed up my gut >.<) I have been a mess, this all started after taking that medicine but I have no idea if its related: 1. Chest tightness I've had since the middle of October has NOT gone away. 2. Abdominal pain that goes back and forth between my left side and right side, very rarely is it both sides at the same time. The left side is extremely tender to the touch when it's hurting. 3. Entire rib cage feels inflamed, it hurts pretty bad when pressed on. 4. Worst pain is at both sides of my rib cage under my breasts, as well as in the middle of my chest right at the top of my breasts. 5. A few weeks ago I started to have vaginal pain/itching/discomfort and slightly odorful/yellow discharge. I got a cream to take care of that and it went away, but now 2 weeks later it's back again (though not as severe) 6. Strange white patches on my left breast, which is surrounded by what looks like a giant zit breakout. I've had that for a few years but it's getting worse and worse (the zit-like bumps, not the white patches). 7. Pain has radiated to my upper and lower back, and is extremely uncomfortable sometimes at night. 8. Occasional pains in arms, hands, elbows, and especially the knees and ankles. It flares up then goes away. 9. More fatigued. I also have sinus stuff going on and when that flares up I feel like I hardly have any energy at all, and now my headaches/pressure feel worse. 10. Trouble urinating. It was every so often now it's all the time. It's not painful, it's just like I can't relax enough to go. 11. Ovarian pain or colon pain? My left one tends to hurt right before my period, but now it's hurting more after too, and it's much worse then usual. Though this feels worse when I have gas/need to have a BM, which makes me wonder if its colon pain rather then the ovary. I've had a lot of that since taking that medicine, and i've only had a handful of "normal" BMs since October, if that many. For awhile I also had gray/super pale BMs, but I quit taking the Nexium I was taking and that went away and never came back. I have anxiety, but I have not had a flare up in awhile, plus when I have anxiety it's more of my neck that tenses up, and it hasn't been tense/painful in awhile now. They keep saying its all anxiety but I've been relaxed and having fun and had times where I don't think about all of this, but it's not going away. When I have a real panic attack, I don't have pain, just more the tightness of chest, but my chest feels tight all the time no matter how I feel or what I am doing. I'm really sick of that, and if it was really anxiety you think it would wax and wane depending on how I'm feeling but it doesn't. I want to find a doctor who's going to take me seriously, and look into all possible causes, even though I'm just 18. Someone else suggest fibro myalgia (which I would like to be tested for) but the doctors say I'm not old enough to have it, but anyone can have it, at any age. They tested me for stuff like RA and juvenile diabetes but that all came back negative. I'm angry and miserable because I feel like this, and I'm tired of taking medicine, especially because none of it works. I want someone to really look into what might be causing all of this and see if they can find out what's going on. I get plenty of sleep, I eat pretty well, drink a lot of water, and get exercise, I'm also not overweight. I gained some weight when I started feeling bad but I feel terrible when I try to exercise like I was when I kept my weight off. I was doing an hour or 2 a day and now 30 minutes can leave me feeling crappy depending on what I'm doing.... If there is a certain kind of doctor I should be looking for I would like to know.... I feel like I'm old and sick and tired, I can't stand feeling like this anymore!!! I also live in the Dallas (not ft worth) area, if anyone knows someone to recommend around there.

Last night after my run, I munched on a slice of pizza and experienced the worst heartburn while each piece? went down. I was at a friend's home, so I excused myself to the restroom because I felt like I was going hurl. I didn't, so I took a nexium and went home. My stomach was still in a lot of pain, and I felt dizzy with a sinus type headache. As soon as I got into my apartment I shut all the blinds and curtains and turned off every light. Light made it worse... As I lay in bed with my eyes closed, my stomach felt a little better and the dizziness went away but my joints began to hurt and I felt all achey. I slept 10 hours last night with the help of tylenol pm. But I can't get out of bed without feeling weak and dizzy, and I still have a bad stomach ache. I tried eating a little applesauce with gatorade for breakfast to take my vitamins, and I had to force it down. I don't want to go to the doctor again! Does this sound like it can be treated at home? I take OrthoLo at night, Nexium, prenatal vitamins (because I heard they help your hair grow), calcium supplements with vitamin d, omega 3s capsules, and glucosamine when i jog over 6 miles a day, and the occasional naproxen or ibuprofen for pain

For several months, and increasingly in the last 2 months, I've had what feels a lot like heartburn/acid-reflux. About 5 weeks ago, I had a pain in my chest so bad around the esophagal/heart area it felt like I was having a heart attack! I don't think it's heart-related, but I'm just saying, the pain was that severe. I saw a family physician twice the last week of August, and he put me on nexium, for 30 days, which I just ceased taking at his recommendation, 3 days ago). Nexium LIMITED the pain, but did not eliminate it. I still had a dull ache around the esophagal area, although lessened by Nexium. My Dr said if it was acid reflux, that would definitely have eliminated it, so that eliminates that. He also tested me for the bacteria that causes ulcers, and I tested negative for that. I didn't like taking nexium, it made me feel like I was on the edge of being incontinent, and I had loose bowel movements and headaches the whole month I was on it. My doctor initially had me on Nexium for 2 months, but said if it wasn't helping after 30 days, I might as well discontinue it. My Dr also gave me an EKG to test for potential heart problems, and that showed no signs of heart trouble. He also did bloodwork, and the only bad sign was my cholesterol was 238, which he advised me to get down, and I've almost completely given up meat and dairy to make an immediate improvement in that. I'm 5' 11", 180 lbs, in good shape, with no physical problems otherwise. I usually feel indigestion and chest pain/acid-reflux-like symptoms 2 to 3 hours after I eat, and often releive the pain/pressure by pressing on points of my upper pectoralis muscles, and burping (as quietly as I can). I think it could possibly just be gas pain, but it seems my esophagus or something else is inflamed. I burp, quietly, sometimes 100, 200 or more times. And I don't want to, but it seems to be the only thing that releives the pressure and pain, at least partially. Sometimes I press on my pectoralis points till my chest is black and blue (although not often) to releive the pressure. I work as a massage therapist, and so have a very physical job. I'm in discomfort, but --so far--- it does not impair my ability to work. Although sometimes I'm at the upper threshold of pain I can comfortably work with. It often helps me to work rather than sit at my desk, because then I'm flexing my chest muscles, and that relieves and stretches it. I also feel frequent itching/irritation around my tonsils and the back of my throat, possibly related to irritation of my esophagus. I've never felt nausea, vomiting or vomiting blood, which I've seen are symptoms of esophagal cancer. My doctor says based on what he's seen so far, he doesn't think it's heart disease or any kind of cancer. But this ongoing inflammation can't be good. The only other health problem I have is mild allergies, although I'm extremely allergic to mold, and that can irritate my throat and make it burn, especially when air conditioning first comes on and kicks up dust in the vents. And when I'm outside near a canal or other place where mold grows abundantly. But that is largely controllable. I'm concerned because the chest pain has kicked up considerably in the last 6 weeks. I'm also currently uninsured, although I make about 30,000 annually and can for the first time in my life afford insurance. I'm concerned if I see a gastro-enterologist, he'll just say "Sorry, nothing I can do, 300 dollars please". Or if it is a serious medical condition, they'll deny me coverage and say it's a pre-existing condition. I also have no idea how to find a good insurance provider. Please advise me, what you think it is, and how it can be treated and eliminated. Thank you ! The most persistent symptom is chest pain, centered around the third rib, just to the left of my sternum, and tightness in my chest muscles on the same point and 2-inch radius around it. For maybe a year, I only felt it after I ate, about 2 to 3 hours after eating. But the last 5 weeks, I feel it pretty much from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep, more inflamed when I eat. I notice no symptoms of fatigue or sweating to indicate heart problems. And again, I had an EKG 1 month ago that indicated no heart problems.

Please Help Me with a Diagnosis? Hi- I'm 53 years old and in good shape [150 lbs]. I do not smoke or drink, but recently have experienced a great deal of symptoms. I took Nexium to deal with my stomach pains and as a result, I had a bad reaction to it. I've been having diarrhea, stomach pains, headaches, lightheadedness for the past couple weeks. It has not gone away. I will go for a stress test soon but I was hoping somebody could provide insight. I don't feel 100% I feel out of it.

dude I replied: "With the symptoms you describe, your problem could be one of many things. A battery of tests and an examination by a medical professional is the only way you can be diagnosed properly. No one on "Answers" could possibly properly diagnose you without the results of the tests."

Lise22 replied: "The symptoms you display could be an array of illnesses. Your GP should order some blood work first and then go from there. Don't ask anyone on the internet to diagnose you, that why us professionals went to school. Also, don't look it up on any of the numerous sites available on the internet, you will only alarm yourself. The amount of people I see now on a daily basis who are convinced that a cough is lung cancer when it is just a cough boggles my mind."

annalyzedgourds replied: "I think you diagnosed your problem yourself. You have a reaction to Nexium or you are suffering from an intestinal virus. I hope you feel better soon!"

antares replied: "i think u should consult a doctor. anyone on answers cannot help u properly."
